In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carl Dean Roe, whom she married on November 13, 1962, and passed away on October 13, 2006, and three brothers, Elmer, James, and David Pearson.

Surviving are her three sons, Mark (Darlene) Roe of Senecaville, Ohio, Timothy (Marjorie) Roe of Byesville, Ohio, and Lloyd (Melinda) Roe of Batesville, Ohio. She leaves behind ten grandchildren including Amanda (Anthony) Stephens, Tracy (Cory) Brown, Heidi (Bryan) Lacy, Lisa Roe, Nathan Roe, Debra Roe, Mallory (Ethan) Smith, Kevin Roe, Allen Roe, and Rachel Roe. She also leaves behind thirteen great grandchildren, one brother, Dean (Linda) Pearson of Batesville, Ohio, along with several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Roe was a graduate of Lore City High School and was a previous employee of March Electric of Cambridge, Ohio. She was a beloved homemaker who enjoyed gardening, canning, and baking, especially her well known homemade bread. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and most recently, working on word search puzzles.

Betty was a member of the Quaker City Church of Christ where she was a Sunday class teacher for many years. Everyone who knew Betty knew she was a faithful and loving Christian woman of God. She enjoyed spending time with her family and always welcomed company whom she never let leave hungry. She enjoyed front porch sitting where she was surrounded with the beauty of her flowers, farm, and memories.

A special thank you is expressed to Mary Lou Carpenter and Kari Capenter for their care, compassion, and time spent with Betty allowing her to stay in the comfort of her home.
