Rocky Roberts Sr.

Rocky Roberts Sr., 69, of Byesville, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at his home.

Rocky was born on February 12, 1955, in Buffalo, a son to the late Marian and Lula (Hupp) Roberts.

Rocky was the owner of T&R Painting and Roofing. He enjoyed fishing, playing games on his phone, and spending time with his grandkids.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Arica Kaiser, his brother, Rex Roberts, and his sisters, Carol Webb, Nancy Wickman, and Norma Roberts.

Rocky is survived by his wife, Deborah (Tipton) Roberts, whom he married on October 14, 1973, his son, Rocky Roberts Jr. of Byesville, his daughter, Melissa Kaiser of Byesville, a brother, Dean Roberts of Cambridge, three sisters, Rebecca Tipton of Cambridge, Betty Rogers of Cambridge, and Barb Claggett of Claysville. Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren, Amber, Ryan, Alisha, Ashley, Tee, and Kayla, his two great grandchildren, Ryliee and Aiden, and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from 1-3PM at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge.
