Ermagene Eschbaugh, 83, of Salesville, went to be with the Lord on April 13, 2018 at the Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center.
She was born April 13, 1935 in Guernsey County, daughter of the late Noah Kenneth Parks and Thelma Josephine (Woodard) Parks.
Mrs. Eschbaugh was a homemaker, a former employee of RCA in Cambridge, and worked as a postal clerk at the former Salesville US Post Office for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Eschbaugh, who passed in 1991, and a sister, Patsy Sue Mardis.
Ermagene enjoyed reading her Bible, singing, spending time with family and friends, sewing, cooking and crocheting. She was grateful for the gift of being married to the love of her life, and was often fond of saying “My life is but a span, and I’ll do the best I can”.
She is survived by two daughters, Kristina Lynn Eschbaugh of Salesville and Sara Ann (Bob) Mallette of Charlottesville, VA; a grandson, Nelson Charles Mallette, also of Charlottesville, VA; three brothers, John Allen (Kathy) Parks of Kimbolton, Bill (Jane) Parks of Kimbolton and Leroy (Judy) Parks of West Lafayette; and a sister, Goldie Ann Smurda of Toronto, OH.
