Lillian Caroline Mcdonald

Lillian Caroline McDonald, 93, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022, at the Embassy of Cambridge.

Lillian was born November 17, 1928, in Cambridge, a daughter of the late Fred and Alice (Headley) Riley.

She was a former employee of the Hoover Company in Cambridge. Lillian was a Christian by Faith. She loved gardening and tending to her flowers and playing cards.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Robertson, her second husband, Jim McDonald, a brother, Dale Riley, and three sisters, Dorothy Humbaird, June Ruther, and Norma Gebhart.

She is survived by one son, Denny (Diana) Robertson, two grandsons, Dan and Jack, and five great grandkids, Cammie, Danny, Dalton, Lillie, and Little Jack, her sisters, Dixie, Peggy, and Linda, two brothers, Brodie and Steve, and one sister-in-law, Marilyn McDonald.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, November 3, 2022, from 12-2 PM, with the service to immediately follow at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge with Chris Bright officiating. Burial will be held at Northwood Cemetery.
