Paulette Marie Francis

Paulette Marie Francis, 73, of Cambridge, died Monday (May 15, 2017) at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born June 30, 1943 in Messine Quebec, Canada, daughter of the late Jeanine Saumure. Mrs. Francis was the co-owner of PNL Solutions, an accounting firm. She was a member of Christ Our Light Parish. She enjoyed knitting and going to Wheeling Island. She was a member of the Guernsey County Senior Citizens Center. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eid Francis, who died December 30, 2004. They were married June 25, 1960. Also deceased is a son, Daniel Francis. She is survived by two sons, Robert Francis of Cambridge and Michael (& Amy) Francis of Virginia; a daughter, Linda (& George) Miller of Cambridge; ten grandchildren, Danny, Nathann, Jennifer, Ashlei, Tonya, Christopher, Travis, Alex, Courtney, and Brandy; she was blessed with ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday (May 18, 2017) from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday (May 19, 2017) at 10 a.m. at Christ Our Light Parish – St. Benedict Catholic Church, Cambridge, with Father Paul Hrezo officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Cambridge. As an expression of sympathy, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City OK 73123.
