Ada M. Yoho, 84, of Quaker City, passed away surrounded by her friends and family on Saturday (January 5, 2008) at the Genesis-Good Samaritan Medical Center, Zanesville. She was born on January 8, 1923 in Kennonsburg, daughter of the late James Edward Harding and Sarah (Stoneburner) Harding. She married Haven Yoho on October 29, 1947. Mrs. Yoho retired from the former Cambridge State Hospital, where she had been an L.P.N. She was a 1941 graduate of Quaker City High School and a member of the Lore City United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Haven, who passed away on March 31, 1992. She leaves a son, Larry (& Susan) Yoho of Houston TX; a daughter, Mary Lou (& Jim) Trainer of Quaker City; a step-son, Clarence Yoho of Coos Bay OR; a step-daughter, Jo Ann (& Robert) Bond of Caldwell; seven grandchildren, Sarah (& James) Arnold, Aaron Yoho, Jesse Yoho, Robert (& Connie) Bond, Sharon (& Bill) Oney, Bill (& Lori) Bond and Don (& Melanie) Bond; seven great-grandchildren, Shannon, Annaliese, Kiley, Kelsey, Melissa, Amy and Robbie; two great-great-grandchildren, Tanner and Kinsley; and special friends, Walter & Margaret Zipperich of Cambridge. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Quaker City, where services will be held on Wednesday (January 9, 2008) at 1 p.m. with Rev. Justin Ray officiating. Burial will be at Salesville Cemetery.
