Aileen "Ace" Conner, 80, of Cambridge, died Thursday (October 28, 2010) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. She was born September 7, 1930 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Douglas A. Milner and Arnetta (VanDyne) Milner. Mrs. Conner was co-owner of the Park Circle Bar with Mickey Grabans for over thirty years. The Park Circle Bar was well-known for great food and good times. She also formerly worked at Chals, East End Bar, Holiday Inn and the Dutch Pantry. She offered kindness and support to many. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dick Edward Conner; an infant son, Michael O. Conner; three brothers, Glen Douglas Milner, Eldridge Milner, William Gordon Milner; and two sisters, Helen Hardy and Beatrice Heskett. She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Perry and husband, Ron, of Gainesville GA and her children, Julie (& Kevin) Duncan and their daughter, Katie Duncan of Kennesaw GA and Lori (& Jeremy) Reeves of Cumming GA; and daughter, Cheryl Burlingame and her children, Chelsea Shingleton and Sheila Shingleton, and Sheila's daughter, Mallory Grimmett, all of Coshocton; a sister, Betty Earhart of Cambridge; her partner of thirty years, Mitchell "Mickey" Grabans of Lore City; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Family and friends may call on Friday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held Saturday (October 30, 2010) at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
