Albert F. Ogle Jr.

Albert F. "Bud" Ogle Jr., 80, of Cambridge died Tuesday (February 2, 2021) at his home.

He was born December 7, 1940 in Cambridge, son of the late Albert Ogle Sr. and Edith (Spencer) Ogle.

Mr. Ogle had worked at Ohio Bridge as a truck driver for many years.

He was Baptist by faith.

Mr. Ogle was a US Army veteran.

He was a member of the Cambridge VFW Post 2901 and the Cambridge Moose Lodge.  He loved motorcycles and enjoyed riding the Harley Davidson motorcycle that he owned.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John L. Ogle and Jack Grant Ogle; a sister, Eileen Hess; and a nephew, Boo Ogle.

He is survived by his wife, Karen (Vermillion) Ogle, whom he married December 15, 1969; two sons, Albert (Dawn) Ogle of Cambridge and Jeff (Christine) Ogle of Cambridge; a daughter, Pam Ogle of Cambridge; a brother, Chuck Ogle of Byesville; two sisters, Mary Ellen Palmer of New Concord and Maxine (Lyle) Shaw of Byesville; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday (February 4, 2021) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held on Friday (February 5, 2021) at 11 a.m. with Evang. Woody Biggs officiating. Per our Governor's current COVID-19 guidelines, face coverings are required to attend the visitation and/or services.

Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge, with military honors conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
