Albert Vanderkamp, 67, of Cambridge, died Saturday (November 18, 2006) at the Red Carpet Health Care Center, Cambridge. He was born December 14, 1938 in Chicago IL, son of the late Albert Vanderkamp Sr. and Agnes (Bussaman) Vanderkamp. Mr. Vanderkamp retired from Dart Corporation, where he had been a truck driver. Mr. Vanderkamp was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step- daughter, Julie Stewart. He leaves his wife, Mary (Reischman) Keylor Vanderkamp of the home, whom he married on March 21, 1975; two sons, Mike (& Jenny) Vanderkamp and Dan (& Kathy) Vanderkamp both of Alabama; a daughter, Joan White of Caldwell; three step-sons, James (& Mary) Keylor of Minnesota, Tim Keylor of Oklahoma and Michael Keylor of Cambridge; two sisters, Janice (& Jim) Paxton of Columbus and Cindy (& Frank) Moore of Mississippi; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and a step-great-grandchild. Family and friends may call on Wednesday (November 22, 2006) from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Cambridge, where Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 a.m. with Father Robert Borer officiating. Burial will be at Old Washington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to: 1) St. Benedict Catholic Church or 2) Hospice of Guernsey, Inc.
