Alice M. Scott, 55, of Zanesville, died Wednesday (August 25, 2021) at The OSU Wexner Medical Center, Columbus.
She was born January 2, 1966 in Cambridge, daughter of Ruby (Ludwick) Hott of Zanesville and the late Leroy Hott.
Mrs. Scott had worked in customer service for many years at multiple jobs.
She was a member of the Salesville Church of Faith.
She loved spending time with children and grandchildren. She was a huge fan of Jeopardy! and enjoyed going to local concerts.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, Miranda Cottle (Josh Thompson) of Sandusky, Dylan Cottle of Cambridge, Benjamin Hott of Cambridge, and Alison Hott of Zanesville; a brother, Harry "Joe" (Amy) Hott of Marianna FL; two sisters, Ellen Roe of Zanesville and Jean (Jay) Heddleson of Cambridge; her grandchildren, Skylar, Remington, Khloe, Leroy, Bellamy, and Kolesyn; her best friend, Kiesha Pierce; and several nieces & nephews.
A memorial service will be held Friday (September 3, 2021) at 2 p.m. at the Salesville Church of Faith (119 Locust Street, Salesville) with Pastor Perry Baranich officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions in her name be made to Thorn-Black Funeral Home, 139 S 9 th St, Cambridge OH 43725.
