Allan L. Decker, 65, of Byesville, died Thursday (June 8, 2017) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge.
He was born May 26, 1952 in Wheeling WV, son of the late Ralph Decker and Jessie (White) Decker.
Mr. Decker was a former maintenance worker for the Guernsey County Courthouse.
He loved his dogs.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two stepdaughters, Missy Taylor and Pam Stamper; and a brother, Ralph Decker Jr.
He is survived by two sons, Allan Michael Lee Decker of Bridgeport and Bryan Lee Decker of Bridgeport; three daughters, Kim Decker of Cambridge, Norma Baker of Byesville, and Jennifer (& Derek) Roberts of Cambridge; two stepdaughters, Janie (& Richard) Milhoan of Byesville and Cathy (& Wayne) Milhoan of Byesville; a brother, Clayton (& Sandy) Decker of Moundsville WV; three sisters, Vicki Fyock, Christine Bosley, and Mildred Keyser all of Moundsville WV; fifteen grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; his lifelong companion, Mary Caldwell; special friends, Gordon Savage and Diane Randolph; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Saturday (June 10, 2017) from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville.
