Allen E. Grudier

Allen E. Grudier, 62, of Byesville, died Monday (December 16, 2013) at his home. He was born August 15, 1951 in Barberton, son of the late Raymond M. Grudier and Mary S. (Trout) Grudier. Mr. Grudier was a self-employed businessman. He enjoyed traveling and classic cars. He cherished spending time with his grandchildren. He was a 1971 graduate of Meadowbrook High School. He is survived by his wife, Margaret "Maggie" (McMillen) Grudier of the home, whom he married on February 9, 1970; a son, Allen (& Nikki) Grudier Jr. of Byesville; a daughter, Jan Barnes of Canton; a brother, Raymond (& Carmen) Grudier Jr. of Byesville; a sister, Laila (& Bill) Black of Texas; and four grandchildren, Zack Barnes, Andrew Barnes, Lilly Grudier, and Jenna Grudier. Private funeral services will be held for the family with burial following at Harmony Christian Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, the family asks that memorial contributions in Allen's name be made to Hospice of Guernsey Inc., PO Box 1165, Cambridge OH 43725.
