Alma J. Wallace

Alma J. Wallace, 85, of Cambridge, died Thursday (October 29, 2015) at the home of her daughter. She was born November 7, 1929 in Guernsey County, daughter of the late Robert Atkinson and Mabel (Gibson) Atkinson. Mrs. Wallace was a line worker at the former NCR for many years. She was Presbyterian by faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Wallace; a daughter, Mary McConkey; and two grandsons, Thomas J. Keith and Travis Wallace. She is survived by two sons, Ronald A. Wallace of Cambridge and Robert C. Wallace of Cambridge; three daughters, Shirley A. Flesher of New Concord, Betty J. Yemich of Cambridge, and Donna K. (& Raymond) Kyser of Cambridge; a sister, Rose Shaffer of Cambridge; eighteen grandchildren; forty-three great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Tuesday (November 3, 2015) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
