Amanda Jane (Massey) Edwards

Amanda Edwards, 42, of Cambridge, passed away Friday, July 29, 2022, at Morrison House after her battle with ALS.

She was born August 27, 1979, in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of the late Claude and Helen (Jones) Massey Jr.

Amanda enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, and riding her four-wheeler. She also enjoyed shopping and going to yard sales. Amanda was a social butterfly. She was a 1999 graduate of Cambridge High School. Amanda was a stay-at-home mom.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Michael Massey

She is survived by her husband, Chad Edwards whom she married in 1999, her three daughters, Taylor (& Chandler Blasenhauer) of Cambridge; Brea Edwards, of the home; and Jaelyn Edwards, of the home, her fur- son, Bailey, three brothers, Claude "Bub" Massey of Mantua; Robert (& Sheri) Massey of Warren; and Jeff (& Amber) Massey of Cambridge, two sisters, Tammy (& Paul) Edge of Mantua; and Betty (Bryan) Miskovich of Streetsboro; her two grandchildren Coleson and Lincoln Blasenhauer; her sister-in-law and best friend, Amanda Gonzalez; best friend, Robin Clodfelter; mother and father-in-law, Susan (& Chris) Durben; along with several nieces and nephews. Also left to cherish her memory are her father-in-law, Ed (Pam) Edwards of Cambridge, her mother-in-law, Olivia Edwards (Henry Holdcraft) of Cambridge, her brothers-in-law, Jimmy Edwards, Emerson Spines, and Graften Edwards, all of Cambridge, and her sister-in-law, Brittiany Durben of Byesville.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge from 5-8PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at 11am. Reverend Chris Durben will be officiating.
