Andrew George Gearhart

Andrew George Gearhart, 68, of Cambridge, passed away Sunday (December 2, 2018) at Summerset Nursing Home.

He was born July 23, 1950 in Akron and was the son of the late James Gearhart and Mary (Bourdess) Gearhart Wesgren.

Mr. Gearhart enjoyed dogs, Chuck Norris, Ohio State football and motorcycles.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Ronald R. Gearhart and one sister, Joann Green.

He is survived by four brothers, James Leonard Gearhart Jr. of Senecaville, Anthony D. (Barbara) Gearhart of Senecaville, Dale F. (Marie) Gearhart of Arizona , and John P. (Linda) Gearhart of Suffield; one sister Ellen Stephens of Barberton.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge with services to follow at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Randolph White officiating. A committal service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, in the mausoleum, with burial to follow at Hillside Memorial Park with Pastor Diane Richman officiating.
