Anna Ray Seel, 84, of Cambridge, died Monday (March 12, 2007) at the Beckett House at New Concord, after a decade-long struggle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was born February 20, 1923 in Owensboro KY, daughter of the late Curtis C. Heady and Mary Katherine (Huff) Heady. Mrs. Seel was a nurse's aide at the former Cambridge State Hospital. She was a loving and dedicated wife of sixty years. She was a loving mother and grandmother, whose interests included flowers, gardening, sewing and her pets. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert; and two sisters, Jane Fogle and Dorothy Gust. She leaves her husband, William C. Seel of the home, whom she married on February 15, 1947; a son, David Seel of Pataskala; two daughters, Jeanne Kay (& David) Vondran of Byesville and Cynthia (& Andy) Koval of Cambridge; two brothers, David Heady of Center and Lewis Heady of Derwent; three grandchildren, Kelly Fehrman of Byesville, Shawn Vondran of Miami FL and Carly Koval of Cambridge; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews. Private calling hours will be held. Graveside services will be held at Guernsey Memory Gardens on Monday (March 19, 2007) at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dennis Rost officiating.
