Annette (Haldane) Taylor, 92, formerly of Cambridge, went to be with the Lord and her beloved husband of 71 years on Wednesday (April 15, 2020).
She was born May 14, 1927 in Huntington, WV and was the daughter of the late George M. and Mary Belle (Wilson) Haldane.
Annette was a graduate of Huntington High School, and attended secretarial classes at Marshall University. She enjoyed sewing, spinning, weaving, baking and painting water colors. She was a long time member of Unity Presbyterian Church where she served as a Deacon for many years.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James C. Taylor whom she married June 12, 1948 and passed away January 6, 2020; siblings, Agnes, Jessie, George, Jim, Bill and Rosemary; son-in-law Rick Neff.
She is survived by one son Richard (Margaret Ann ) Haldane Taylor of Knoxville, TN; three daughters, Ann Hope (Malcolm) Worth of Xenia, Rosemary Lynn (Rick) Burkhead of Pleasant City, and Margaret Joyce "Marge" (Herb) Gerdau of Senecaville; seventeen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Private family services will be held with burial to follow in Huntington, WV .
