Anthony Wayne (Tony) Watkins, age 55, of Cambridge, OH, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024, at his home. He was born October 13, 1968, to Debra L. (Clifton) Watkins Price of Cambridge and Ralph Watkins of Cambridge.

Tony attended Cambridge High School and was a member of Scout Troop 542 out of Byesville, achieving the rank of Life Scout. He was a laborer and had worked at many places in Cambridge and Byesville. He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, The Ohio State Buckeyes, and his Grandma Betty's Blueberry Salad. He also loved movies, a good joke and telling jokes (with that twinkle in his eye), camping, fishing, and spending time with his friends.

Tony was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Betty and Robert (Bob) Ault of Cambridge, and James (Jim) and Violet (Vi) Clifton of Cumberland, and Uncle Doug Ault of Anchorage, AK.

He is survived by his mother, a brother, Jason Watkins of Cambridge, four uncles, David (Mary) Clifton of Claysville, Chuck (Colleen Huston) Clifton of Lore City, Brad (Missy) Ault of Arkansas, and Doug (Charity) Hawkins of Palm Harbor, FL, five aunts, Barbara (Bunny) Whittle of Claysville, Cindy (Dana) Swope of Zanesville, Valerie (Gary) Taylor of Cumberland, Marla (Steve) Ault-Miller of Ruskin, FL, and Denise Ault of Anchorage, AK. Also left to cherish his memory are his two nephews, Rowan Watkins of Spanaway, WA, Andrew Watkins of Wasilla, AK, and one niece, Robyn Watkins of Spanaway, WA, his cousins, David Lee, Tina, Matthew, Hannah, Jasmine, David Allen, Bobbi, Tommy, Casey, Dana Christine, Mercedes, Andrea, Gary Jr., Matthew, Mistianna, Kiana, Kaylee, and Denile, as well as their children and extended family, and his special friends, Denise and Steve Nau of Byesville.

According to Tony's wishes, he has chosen cremation. No calling hours will be observed at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

As an expression of sympathy, the family suggest that any memorial contributions can be made in Tony's name to the following organizations: Boy Scouts of America of the American Heart Association.
