Arnette L. Stroud

Arnette L. Stroud, 94, of Cambridge, died Tuesday October, 15, 2019, at her home.

She was born on July 23rd, 1925 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Charles and Gertrude (Geyer) Kenworthy

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank M. Stroud Sr., whom she married on May 9, 1944, and who passed away on January 9, 2012; a son, Frank Stroud Jr., a son-in-law, John Hickman, and two brothers, Kenneth Kenworthy and Bernard Kenworthy.

Arnette was a retired supervisor from the former Cambridge State Hospital.  She was Christian by faith.

She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Hickman of Cambridge; a brother, Herb Kenworthy of Cambridge; Grandchildren; Toni Fisher, Lora (Darin) Christman, Sandra (Chris) Roof, Frank (Miranda )Stroud, Robyn (Jeremy) Morrow, Doug Stroud; a sister-in-law, Mary Kenworthy; several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and neighbors that she considered family.

Arnette greatly enjoyed her trips to the casinos, especially her travels to Atlantic City where she made several friends that she held dear to her heart.

Thorn-Black Funeral Home in Cambridge is in charge of arrangements.  Private family services will be held a later date.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Guernsey, P.O. Box 1165, Cambridge, Ohio  43725.
