Arthur William Faiello, 80, of Cambridge, passed away Saturday (February 9, 2008) at the Cambridge Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was born on September 24, 1927 in Magnolia, son of the late Rocco Faiello and Carmela (Logozzo) Faiello. Mr. Faiello retired from Diebold Corporation, where he had been a welding engineer. He later was employed with the Cambridge City School District, where he worked in maintenance. He also did maintenance work for the I.G.A. stores in both Cambridge & Byesville. Mr. Faiello was a 1945 graduate of Magnolia High School. He was an active supporter of the Cambridge school system and a Cambridge Bobcat supporter. Mr. Faiello was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during World War II. He later joined the U.S. Navy, serving from 1952 to 1955. He was a member of the Cambridge VFW Post 2901. He was Methodist by faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Louis and Orlie; and three sisters, Mary, Virginia and Rose. He leaves his wife, Lola Beverly (Sunnafrank) Faiello of the home, whom he married on April 28, 1962; three sons, David Arthur (& Eloise) Faiello of El Paso TX, Gary Francis (& Dale) Faiello of Charlotte NC and Matthew (& Teresa) Faiello of Tampa FL; four brothers, Patrick (& Maris) Faiello of Georgia, David (& Judy) Faiello of Magnolia, Michael (& Nina) Faiello of Canton and Richard Faiello of Canton; five sisters, Agnes (& Chuck) Larson, Betty Lancaster, Nancy (& Gary) Neisel, Anne (& Dave) Boyd and Vicki (& Glenn) Albright all of Magnolia; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Juanita Faiello of Canton; two brothers-in-law, Sam Pentello and Doug Xides both of Canton; and numerous nieces & nephews. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be held on Thursday (February 14, 2008) at 11 a.m. with Father Robert Borer officiating. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
