Audrey Eileen Tilton

Audrey Eileen Tilton, 83, of Cambridge, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at SEORMC. Audrey was born on November 1, 1941, in Kipling, a daughter to the late Clem Slay Sr. and Ethel (Burris) Slay. Audrey attended Lore City High School and worked at NCR from the time it opened until it closed in 1998. She enjoyed bingo, yard sales, and collecting Beanie Babies. Audrey and Larry loved doing the flea market business and going to auctions. They loved traveling in their mobile home. Audrey was a devoted animal lover. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Larry A. Tilton, who passed away on May 20, 2008, several brothers, sisters, as well as her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-laws. Audrey is survived by her sons, Buck (Pam) Tilton of Cambridge, and Terry (Denise) Tilton of Byesville, and her daughter, Debbie Williams of Cambridge. Also left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren, Brandi Williams (Ralph), Josh Williams, Nicole (Kevin) Hardy, and Bradley (Lindsey) Tilton, and her great-grandchildren, Katie Alloway, Austin Huntsman, Blake Hardy, Ben Hardy and Brylee Hardy, Cayson Tilton and Hudson Tilton, and Owen Williams, as well has several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 11AM-1PM with the service to immediately follow at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge. Burial will follow at Northwood Cemetery.
