Autumn Payton

Autumn Payton, 41, of Cambridge, died Saturday (January 3, 2015) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. She was born September 23, 1973 in Cambridge, daughter of Charles Edward Payton Sr. and Patricia (Brownfield) Payton. Miss Payton had worked at Mr. Lee's Restaurant. She enjoyed reading, listening to music, and watching movies. She cherished spending time with her daughter. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Charles E. Payton; and her maternal grandparents, Jerome and Martha Brownfield. She is survived by her mother and father, Patricia Payton and Charles Edward Payton Sr.; two daughters, Lottie Ann Payton and Emily Dean Payton both of Cambridge; a brother, Charles E. "Chas" Payton III; her paternal grandmother, Ruth Ann Payton of Cambridge; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and her best friend, Maria Harris of Columbus. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, and also Monday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Funeral services will be held Monday (January 12, 2015) at 11 a.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, with Pastor Randolph White officiating. Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
