Barbara Eileen (Calvert) Brink

Barbara Eileen (Calvert) Brink, 76, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023, at her home.

Barbara was born on August 31, 1946, in Cambridge, a daughter of the late Charles and Jaunita (Morehead) Calvert Sr.

She was a lifelong homemaker and enjoyed playing bingo, watching TV, and riding in the truck with her late husband.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Brink Sr., who she married on December 1, 1964, and passed away on July 7, 2010, her sister, Carolyn Ray, and two brothers, Charles Calvert Jr. and Ronald Calvert.

Barbara is survived by her three sons, Thomas (Christie) Brink of Houston, Texas, Charles (Kim) Brink of Madisonville, Texas, and William (Carol Hadley) Brink of Buffalo, her daughter, Tammy (Westyn) Fancher of Pasadena, Texas, her brother, Scott (Marcella) Calvert of Buffalo, and her two sisters, Pat (Don) Eltringham of Buffalo and Bonnie Thomas of Columbus. Also left to cherish her memory are her twenty-one grandchildren and her twenty-seven great grandchildren, her niece and nephew, Barbie (Robert) Eltringham, and Robin (Terry) Lashley, who was like a son to her.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2023, from 11AM-1PM, at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge with the service to immediately follow. Burial will be held at Northwood Cemetery.
