Barbara Ann (Chalfant) Mckim

Barbara Ann (Chalfant) McKim, 88, of Cambridge, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Countryview Assisted Living in Lore City.

She was born on June 28, 1934, in Old Washington, a daughter to the late Clarence and Katherine (Addy) Chalfant.

Barbara was a member of the Beckett Ave UMC and UMW. She enjoyed doing flower arrangements, crafts, spending time with family, and cooking. Barbara was a homemaker, the owner of Barb's Craft Shop, and worked in the office at her and her husband's moving company.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, AJ McKim, whom she married on January 27, 1952, and passed away on September 1, 2011, one brother, Richard Chalfant, and one grandson, Leonard David Crawford.

Barbara is survived by two daughters, Pam McKim and Diana Monroe, both of Cambridge, five grandchildren, Keri, Amy, Margie, Anthony, and Ronnie, as well as nine great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and good friends.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, October 27, 2022, from 11 AM- 1 PM, with a service to immediately follow at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge. Interment will be held at Northwood Cemetery.
