Barbara Ann Fabian, 75, of Cambridge, passed away Wednesday (March 30, 2011) at The Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus. She was born March 23, 1936 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Delbert McIntyre and Thelma (Wilson) McIntyre. Mrs. Fabian worked at Beverly Shop and also at the Cambridge Health Care Center. She was a graduate of Brown High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved being with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Frank B. "Jinx" Fabian Jr., who died December 30, 2009. They were married May 3, 1958. Also deceased are three sisters, Nancy Galbreath, Priscilla McHenry, and infant Sandra Sue. She is survived by four sons, Frank (& Marciea) Fabian of Byesville, Joe (& Vergie) Fabian of Cambridge, Scott Fabian of Cambridge, and Randy (& Carol) Fabian of Antrim; two brothers, John McIntyre of Cambridge and Chuck (& Cathy) McIntyre of Byesville; two sisters, Sally McElroy of Cambridge and Carol LaFollette of Cambridge; five grandchildren, Scott (& Jenny) Fabian of Fredricksburg VA, Brandi Fabian of Antrim, Shelby Fabian of Antrim, Luke Fabian of Cambridge, and Josie Fabian of Cambridge; a great-grandchild, Mackenzie Fabian of Fredricksburg VA; and several nieces & nephews. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held on Friday (April 1, 2011) at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Eschbaugh officiating. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
