Barbara J. Hollins, 80, of Cambridge, died Thursday (December 15, 2016) at her home. She was born May 16, 1936, daughter of the late William Ellsworth and Leona Belle (Slay) Ellsworth. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick N. Hollins, Sr., who died September 24, 2009. They were married September 7, 1957. Also deceased is a son, Darrell Ray Hollins; a daughter, Tamara S. Hollins; seven brothers; and three sisters. She is survived by her children, Roxanna J. Hollins of Lansing MI, Nanci (Merle) Glass Sr., Jeanie (Ernest) Phillips, Fred (Kathy) Hollins Jr., Tamara S. Hollins, Kevin L. Hollins and Dee Hollins (Henry Phillips) all of Cambridge, Ida (Desmond) Hill and family of Columbus; her grandchildren, Michael Payton of Lansing MI, Artrese Manning of Akron, Merle (Wendy) Glass Jr. of Pickerington, Aaron (Tara) Glass of Virginia, Eric Glass, Matthew (Courtney) Phillips and Zacc Phillips all of Cambridge, Cory L. Hollins of Newark, Nate Hollins of Zanesville, Ashley Hollins of Columbus, Alexis Crawford, JR Crawford and Diedra (Martae) Simpson all of Cambridge, Jessika Hollins of Delmar DE, DeMikeal Simpson, Javon Masters, Tavionna Simpson and Ta'Jion Simpson all of Cambridge; a brother, Donald Richard Todd Sr.; a sister, Patricia Todd; and many great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held Monday (December 19, 2016) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Randolph White officiating. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
