Barbara "Barb" Jean Quarles

Barbara "Barb" Jean Quarles of Cambridge, died peacefully on Saturday (December 1, 2018) surrounded by friends and family in Cleveland, at the age of 82.

Barbara was born December 31, 1935 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Eugene "Rock" and Georgia (Malvin) Quarles. She graduated from Cambridge High School. She had worked at NCR and Meridian Plastics and later retired from Encore Plastics. She volunteered at Alcoholics Anonymous.

Barbara is survived by Wayne Quarles of Henderson NV, Mary Ellen Quarles of Cambridge, Jacqueline O'Shea of Rockland MA, Gary Oliver Quarles of Cleveland; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and many, many friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday (December 8, 2018) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. with Pastor Randolph White officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alcoholics Anonymous, General Service Office, Box 459, Grand Central Station, New York NY 10163.
