Barbara Mcculley

Barbara McCulley, 70, formerly of Cambridge, passed away on Friday (March 31, 2017) at the Adams Lane Care Center, Zanesville. She was born April 25, 1946, daughter to the late Albert and Alma (Remley) Hossler. Barbara was a graduate of Cambridge High School and received additional training for medical transcription. She was a clerical assistant at Medical Associates for 15 years and also earned a realtor's license. Barbara attended the Bloomfield Presbyterian Church; she enjoyed bowling, gardening, was an avid reader and was a member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James McCulley Sr., who passed away in December of 2013; and a son, Jimmy McCulley Jr. Survivors include two sons, Jonathon (Glenda) McCulley of McCutchenville and Jason "J.D." (Tiffany) McCulley of Roseville; a daughter, Julie Scott of McCutchenville; a brother, Bruce (Myrna) Hossler of Madison, S.D.; two additional brothers, Rick and Dean; and two sisters, Patricia and Mary; eight grandchildren, Adrianna, Brogan, Madalyn, Jameson, Lynkin, Deklan, Heather (Tom) Sharp and Cassie (Bram) Walton; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday (April 3, 2017) from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with Pastor Tim Pollock officiating.
