Barbara J. Mourer

Barbara J. Mourer, 68, of New Concord, died Thursday (March 7, 2013) at her home. She was born March 4, 1945, in Cambridge, daughter of the late Earle and Dolly (Baker) Ross. Mrs. Mourer was a homemaker, a 1963 graduate of Cambridge High School, and a member of Flat Ridge Community Church. She is survived by her husband, Donald E. Mourer, whom she married June 24, 1966; a son, Steve (Veronica) Mourer of Cambridge; a daughter, Angie (Loren) Gibson of Cambridge; a brother, Earle (Glenna) Ross of Columbus; two sisters, Georgie Ross of Youngstown and Debbie Ross of Cambridge; two grandchildren, Cameron and Carissa Gibson; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday (March 11, 2013) at Flat Ridge Community Church (Knox Township), with Pastor Rodney West officiating. Burial will follow in Flat Ridge Cemetery.
