Bernadine L. Vandyke

Bernadine L. VanDyke, 92, of Cambridge, died Saturday (September 12, 2009) at the Autumn Healthcare Center, Cambridge. She was born July 14, 1917 in Ravenna, daughter of the late Howard Boston and Stella Mae (Dustman) Boston. Mrs. VanDyke retired from The GE Corporation of Gainesville, Florida. She was a member of the New Milford Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold VanDyke; a daughter, Linda Sequien; two brothers; three sisters; a grandson; and a great-grandson. She is survived by two sons, Allen VanDyke of Houston TX and Russell VanDyke of Ravenna; a daughter, Polly Ann Boitle of Gainesville FL; fourteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday (September 15, 2009) at 1 p.m. at the Homeland Cemetery near Rootstown OH with Rev. Wayne Bebb officiating.
