Bessie May Logan

Bessie May Logan, 83, of Cambridge, died Wednesday (April 22, 2009) at the Red Carpet Health Care Center, Cambridge. She was born September 29, 1925 in Akron, daughter of the late George William and Mabel (Nutter) William. Ms. Logan was a former employee of the Bell Haven Nursing Home. She had also worked at the Cambridge Country Club and the Dutch Pantry. She was a member of Cambridge Moose Lodge # 396. She enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting and socializing with her friends. She attended Senecaville Old Elementary School. Ms. Logan was affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Cambridge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers; a sister; and a granddaughter, Cathy Sue McPeak. She leaves a son, George Raymond (& Jeania) Logan of Frankfort KY; four grandchildren, Michael Allen Logan of Chillicothe, Matthew Paul Logan of Frankfort KY, Talitha Ruth Logan of Frankfort KY and Josephine Marie Logan of Frankfort KY; three great-grandchildren, Andrew Logan and Veronica Logan both of Chillicothe and Gavin Zavala of Frankfort KY; and her best friend, Ruth Walls of Cambridge. Family and friends may call on Friday (April 24, 2009) from 2 to 4 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will follow at 4 p.m. with President Robert Erskine officiating.
