Bettie W. Booth, 87, of Kimbolton, loving mom and grandma, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday (July 27, 2008). She was born on February 12, 1921 in New Guilford, daughter of the late Howard Wilt and Beatrice (Barrett) Wilt. She married Marvin Booth on October 8, 1941. Along with her husband, she was the owner & operator of The Gulf Gas Station in Kimbolton for many years. She also worked at RCA. Mrs. Booth was a member of the Kimbolton United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Pike High School in West Carlisle. She enjoyed crafts, needle work, gardening and working crossword puzzles. She cherished spending time with her grandkids. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin, who died on August 23, 1988; and two brothers, John Edward and Ray Daniel. She leaves a son, Ronald Ray Booth of Kimbolton; a daughter, Tina (& Jeff) Enochs of Kimbolton; four grandchildren, Bradley (& his fiancée, Dana Ray) Kennedy, Brandi Slosky, Ricky Enochs and Nicole Enochs; two great-grandchildren, Levi Ray and Aubrianna Kennedy; several nieces & nephews; and her special friends, Clara Schreffler of Pennsylvania and Gary (& Donna) Erbes of North Carolina. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be held on Wednesday (July 30, 2008) at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
