Betty Lou Mclaughlin

Betty Lou McLaughlin, 64, of Cambridge passed away Thursday (December 12, 2013) at her home. She was born September 20, 1949 in Cambridge and was the daughter of the late Larry and Cathryn (Addis) Knight. Betty was lead customer service representative with Time Warner Cable. She was Methodist by faith and a 1967 graduate of Cambridge High School. She enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, was an avid sports fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns and the Cincinnati Reds. She also loved to read, sunbath and being outdoors. She is survived by her husband Mickey McLaughlin; one son Mickey (Charlene) McLaughlin of Cambridge; one daughter Amanda McLaughlin and Darrin Beardmore of Cambridge; one brother Ted Taylor of North Salem; two sisters, Barbara (Jim) Lantz of New Port Richey, FL and Karen Myers of Cambridge; two grandchildren, Marshall and Marcus McLaughlin; great aunt Katherine Mathews of North Salem and cousin Ann (Dick) Preston of Cambridge. Calling hours will be Sunday December 15th from 6 to 9 p.m. and Monday December 16th from 10 to 11 at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge where services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark Stinson officiating.
