Betty Marie Tyo

Betty Marie Tyo, 95, of Cambridge, passed away at Cedar Hill Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center Monday, September 29, 2025.

She was born October 13, 1929, in Fairview, daughter of the late Charles Nelson Steele and Zelma (Stevens) Steele.

She was a former member of the Cambridge Moose Lodge and the Cambridge VFW Post 2901 Ladies Auxiliary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Tyo; her brothers, Lester Steele, Samuel Steele; her sisters, Frances Kay, Dorothy Heskett and Phyllis Hackley; and her grandchild, John Suttles

She is survived by four daughters, Randy Duffy, Sherry L. Duffy, Ginger K. Fisher, and Samantha B. (& David) Stoneburner; seven grandchildren, Jesse (& Miranda) W. Crawmer, Nicholas Paulus, Larry Novak, Jennifer Traxon, Caylie Stoneburner, Jennifer Curry, and Jammie Suttles; two great-grandchildren, Avah N. Crawmer and Abby Hamilton; and two great- great- grandchildren, Jonathan Crawner and Lilly Crawmer.

Graveside services will be held at Sunset View Cemetery in Londonderry Township Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 1PM.
