Beulah M. Talbert, 86, of Cambridge, died Sunday (February 19, 2017) at Countryview Assisted Living Center, Lore City. She was born April 16, 1930 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Reuben Keith and Margaret (Edmonds) Keith. Mrs. Talbert had worked as an aide at the former Cambridge State Hospital. She enjoyed puzzle books. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Talbert; a daughter, Dorothy Burris; a brother, Junior Keith; three half-sisters; and three half-brothers. She is survived by four sons, Jerry Keith of California, Richard Burris of Cambridge, Ralph Burris of Cambridge, and Dwight Burris of Byesville; a daughter, Betty West of Kentucky; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her pet bird, Grandma's Boy. Visitation will be held Thursday (February 23, 2017) from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Marie Hanning officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville.
