Beva Elaine Mathers

Beva Elaine Mathers, 85, formerly of Cambridge, died Saturday (October 19, 2019) at Grant Medical Center, Columbus.

She was born January 22, 1934 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Wilbur A. Boyer and Lucy Belle (McCaig) Boyer.

Ms. Mathers was a former telemarketer for Ameridial Inc. and had worked for thirty years with Dorothy Fraizer Telemarketing for the F.O.P. She had also worked at the former Cambridge Health Care Center.

She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church.

Ms. Mathers was a former member of the Cambridge Eagles and Moose clubs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Raymond Mathers.

She is survived by two sons, Rocky Lee Mathers of Cambridge and Steven Richard Mathers of Columbus; a daughter, Sheryl Lynn Coblentz of Cambridge; five grandchildren, Shane Mathers, Rocky Lee Mathers Jr., Robin Mathers, Nathan Mathers, and Natalie Mathers; nine great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Nikolas, Shanee, Lizzy, Felicity, Alonna, Tristen, Angel, and Ariel; and three special friends, Brenda Molisee, Dianna Stewart, and Jo Ann Graham.

Memorial visitation hours will be held Friday (October 25, 2019) from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where a memorial service will follow at 5 p.m.

Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge, at a later date.
