Brandon Anthony Pethtel

Brandon Anthony Pethtel, 15, of Kimbolton, passed away Saturday (April 13, 2013) when he was taken into God's arms. He was born March 24, 1998 in Fredericksburg VA, the son of Michael and Tonya (Loy) Pethtel. Brandon was a freshman at Cambridge High School. He enjoyed riding his bike, playing video games, and hanging out with his buddies. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Gary L. Loy; and a paternal great-grandfather, Rudy Frattali. He is survived by his parents, Michael and Tonya Pethtel of the home; an older sister, Brenda Pethtel of the home; his paternal grandmother, Jeanie (Frattali) Pethtel of Cambridge; his maternal grandmother, Mary (McWhorter) Loy of Cambridge; his paternal grandfather, Bill (& Judy) Pethtel of Old Washington; and his paternal great-grandmother, Ann Frattali of Cambridge; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his pet dog, Brutus. Family and friends may call on Saturday (April 20, 2013) from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. with Evang. Woody Biggs officiating. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge, at a later date.
