Brenda Fawn (Logwood) Blanchard, 81, of Cambridge, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 27, 2022, in her home surrounded by her children.
Brenda was born on December 10, 1940, a daughter of the late James and Barbara (Lett) Logwood.
Brenda was a lifelong homemaker and was Catholic by faith. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, singing when she was alone, playing bingo and spending time with her family and grandkids. Most of all she was a devoted mother and lifelong caretaker of her family.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Melvin Blanchard Sr.; her siblings: James Logwood, Rev. Barbara Earley, Bethel Winston, and Christopher Logwood.
Brenda is survived by her seven children: Taleana (&Bill) Lawson of Mt. Clemons, Michigan, Melvin (&Pam) Blanchard of Cambridge, Jeff (&Valerie) Blanchard of Cambridge, Kevin (&Loretta) Blanchard of Port Orange, Florida, Dwain (&Misty) Blanchard of Cambridge, Brien Blanchard of Cambridge and Tiffanie (&Lawrence Jackson) Blanchard of Lore City; her siblings: Diana Payton of Columbus, Charles (&Rosalynd) of Ohio, Joseph (&Crissy) Logwood of Cambridge, Veronica Rice of Tennessee, Timothy Logwood of Kentucky, Gary (&Sabrina) Logwood of Columbus and Phylis (&Michael) Mack of Columbus; Brenda also leaves behind many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and good friends.
Calling hours will be Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, from 11-1 with services to immediately follow.
Family and Friends are welcome, but due to COVID- 19 please take all necessary precautions to ensure your safety and everyone else's should you decide to attend.
