Brenda K. Fosdyck

Brenda K. Fosdyck, 67, of Byesville, former resident of Nashville for past 25 years, passed away Friday (April 15, 2011) at the home of her daughter, Lori Touvell. She was born November 11, 1943 in Cambridge and was the daughter of Phyllis Christie Eckelberry Bell of Cambridge and the late Vaughn Eckelberry. Mrs. Fosdyck was a homemaker, and also enjoyed camping, fishing and gardening. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband, Merritt Voorhies who passed away October 29, 2006. Including her mother she is survived by two daughters, Lisa Wells of Cambridge and Lori (Terry) Touvell of Byesville; one brother, Kevin Eckelberry of Cambridge; four grandchildren, Melanie (Justin) Ingram, Michael Wells, Joshua Warrick and Eric Wylie; two great grandchildren, Breann Ingram and Chelsey Wells; several nieces, nephews and cousins; very special friend, Carl Dowell of Nashville, TN., and long time friend, Pam Aleshire of Byesville. Friends and family may call on Tuesday (April 19th) from 2:00 - 3:45 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge where services will follow at 3:45 with Rev. James Touvell officiating.
