Brian Christopher Gray

Brian Christopher Gray, 78, of Cambridge, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.

Brian was born on April 4, 1945, in Seattle, Washington, a son to the late Stanley and Maxine (Cushing) Gray.

He was a jack of all trades. He attended Washington University where he studied forestry. Brian was a member of the Cambridge Police Department, worked in the oil fields,  the owner Ohio Wood Products and Cambridge Wooden Toy Co., and worked at Detroit Diesel as a supervisor where he later retired. Brian enjoyed racing hydroplanes, was a master woodworker and loved to travel. He was a member of the U.S. Army with the 10th Special Forces Group.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Kerrigan and Donovan Gray.

Brian is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Geary) Gray, whom he married on September 9, 1966, one son, Troy Gray of Cambridge, two grandchildren, Katlyn McIntire, and Ethan Gray.
