Bruce Allen Cook

Bruce Allen Cook, 66, of Cambridge, died Sunday (April 2, 2017) at Oak Pointe Care Center in Baltic.

He was born July 3, 1950 in Cambridge, son of the late Robert Cook and Patricia (Miller) Cook Fisher.

Mr. Cook retired from Oglesby Construction of Norwalk and was a member of Local #530 Laborers Union.

He was a 1968 graduate of Zane Trace High School.

He was a member of Cambridge Eagles Aerie 386.

Mr. Cook was a member of the National Guard.

He is survived by his wife, Karen (Allbritain) Cook, whom he married June 23, 1973; two daughters, Jennifer Dawn Cook of Cambridge and Angie (& Dan) Mallett of Byesville; two sisters, Toni (& Gene) Hutchison of Norwich and Suellen (& Kevin) Sicard of Little Rock AR; two grandchildren, Evan Marmie of Morganstown WV and Logan Starr of Byesville; two sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law; many nieces and nephews; and his mother-in-law, Naomi S. Allbritain of Salesville.

No calling hours will be observed. A public memorial service will be held at the family's discretion at a later date.

As an expression of sympathy, the family asks that memorial contributions in Bruce's name be made to Community Hospice, 716 Commercial Avenue SW, New Philadelphia OH 44663.
