Carla Stephens

Carla Stephens, 53, of Cambridge, died Wednesday (May 21, 2014) at her home. She was born April 11, 1961 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Cletis Pennington and Beulah (Scott) Pennington. Mrs. Stephens was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting and loved her cats. She was a member of the Freedom Worship Chapel. She is survived by her husband, Ron Stephens, whom she married May 15, 1982; a brother, Darrell (& Susie) Pennington of Cambridge; three sisters, Jo Stage of Cambridge, Kathy Pennington of Cambridge, and her twin sister, Carmen Pennington of Cambridge; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; a great-great-nephew; and her special friends, Carol Shinn, Eloise Long, and Karen Jerioux. Visitation will be held Friday (May 23, 2014) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Don Glass officiating. Burial will be at Hopewell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Carla's name to the Humane Society of Guernsey County, PO Box 422, Cambridge OH 43725.
