Carol J. McWilliams, 82, of Cambridge, passed away Monday, August 22, 2022, in Cambridge.

She was born March 3, 1940, in Wadsworth, daughter of the late John Rollin Lawless and Ellnor (Holderbaum) Lawless.

Mrs. McWilliams retired from the former Shenandoah Truck Stop, where she had worked as a bookkeeper for 17 ½ years. Carol also worked at the service counter at IGA. She loved having and raising dogs, as well as showing horses.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack D. McWilliams, whom she married April 27, 1958, her son, John David McWilliams, and a brother, William D. Lawless.

She is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Jean (& Thomas) Miller of Cambridge; four grandchildren, T.J. (Nicole) Miller, Marian "Punkie" Kirkbride, Jodi Tedrick, and Dustin McWilliams; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on August 29, 2022, from 11AM-1PM, with the service to immediately follow at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge. Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
