Carol Selders
April 6, 1934 — February 14, 2020
Carol Selders, 85, of Cambridge, died Friday (February 14, 2020) at Astoria Place of Cambridge.
She was born April 6, 1934 in Guernsey County, daughter of the late Ellis A. Moffett and Ruth (Kackley) Moffett.
A 1952 graduate of Byesville High School, Mrs. Selders retired from NCR where she had worked on the assembly line.
She was a former member of the Free Methodist Church.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dale E. Selders, who died in 2003; and a sister, Jan Burk.
She is survived by a daughter, Ruby Selders (& Ron Sampson) of Cambridge; a son, Brian Selders of Cambridge; her grandchildren, Erin, Kristina, Derek (AJ), Matthew, Ethan, Amanda, Nathan, and Bethany; and her great-grandchildren, Bentley, Aubriella, Mathew, Kaylor, Bella, Jadon, and Ezra.
Visitation will be held Friday (February 21, 2020) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m.
Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville.
