Caroline "CJ" Johnson-Alley, 57, of Kimbolton, peacefully passed away Friday (May 27, 2016) at her home surrounded by her family. She was born April 20, 1959, in Port Jervis, N.Y., daughter of Marie Sansevere and the late John Wright. Caroline worked in non-profit support services, beginning at Goodwill and then became a coordinator of family readiness for the U.S. military and the American Red Cross. She was a founding member of the Guernsey County Ohio Horseman's Council and loved horseback riding and camping. She is survived by her husband, Keith Alley, whom she married on Dec. 26, 2004; her mother, Marie Sansevere of Newcomerstown; a son, Adam Johnson of Guernsey; four daughters, Danielle McDill and Chasity Johnson of Alabama, Elizabeth Eckelberry of Newcomerstown and Kim Alley of Lorraine County; a brother; four sisters; eight grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Wednesday (June 1, 2016) from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with Pastor Lee Randolph officiating.
