Carrie R. Reeves

Carrie R. Reeves, 63, of Cambridge, died Sunday (October 17, 2021) at her home.

She was born October 24, 1957 in Cleveland, daughter of the late Vincent Winans and Caroline (Weekley) Eck.

Mrs. Reeves had worked for Cracker Barrel of Cambridge and Burger King of Cambridge for several years.

She loved music, coloring, and cooking big meals.  She cherished spending time with her grandchildren and had the biggest heart for everyone.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond Winans, Jason Winans, and Robert Thombs.

She is survived by her husband, Timothy Reeves; two sons, Jeremy Reeves (Tina Edwards) of Cambridge and Richard (Kelly) Petry of North Carolina; a sister, Helen Ralyea of Cleveland; a stepbrother, Larry Jack (Vicky) Eck of Cleveland; five grandchildren, Grace, Braylon, Abel, Veda, and Grace; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Susan (Glen) Davis of Cumberland, David (Carol) Reeves of Byesville, Mark Reeves of Cambridge, and Judy Winans of Byesville; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held Monday (October 25, 2021) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Dave Glass officiating. Friends and family are welcome, but due to COVID-19 please take all necessary precautions to ensure your safety and everyone else's should you decide to attend.

Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
