Cathryn Louise Knight

Cathryn Louise (Addis) Knight, 87, of Cambridge passed away Friday September 21, 2007 at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. She was born April 29, 1920 in Dexter City, Ohio, daughter of the late Manson and Nell(Williams) Addis. Miss Knight retired from the former Guernsey Memorial Hospital where she worked in central supply. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her Husband, Lawrence Knight, whom she married August 10, 1945 and passed away in 1974; 3 sisters, Josephine Baker, Grace Hammersley and Alice Williamson; 1 great grandson, Matthew Taylor. Survivors are: 1 Son, Ted (Lois) Taylor, Kimbolton; 3 daughters, Barbara (Jim) Lantz, Karen Myers and Betty (Mick) McLaughlin all of Cambridge; 10 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Katherine Matthews and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call on Sunday Sept. 23rd from 5-8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge where services will be on Monday Sept. 24th at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark Stinson officiating. Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery.
