Charles Harrison Cramblett, 71, of Quaker City, passed away Tuesday (July 31, 2018) at the Wade Park Veterans Hospital in Cleveland.
He was born on September 24, 1946 to Clarence and Alice (Bishard) Cramblett. He graduated from Madison High School in 1964. He was a member of the Antrim Methodist Church.
Mr. Cramblett was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War era.
After a few years driving truck, he worked at Champion Spark Plug where he retired after thirty years of service.
He enjoyed farming – he lived and worked on the family farm his entire life. He also enjoyed meeting his friends for breakfast at the Quaker City restaurant and at Denny's of Cambridge.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Phebe Cramblett and James and Alice Bishard.
He leaves his son, Bradley Cramblett; his daughter, Amy (John) Mohler; his sisters, Jeanetta Marie (the late Richard) Wells of Columbus and Martha Ann (William) Ford of Cambridge; a brother, James Ernest (Sherry) Cramblett of the Quaker City area; and a special friend, Sheryl Derry of Zanesville.
Visitation will be held Thursday (August 2, 2018) from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held Friday (August 3, 2018) at 11 a.m.
Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge, with military honors conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
