Charles "Dave" David Lent

Charles "Dave" David Lent, 55, of Salesville, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024, at his home.

Dave was born on May 10, 1968, in Guernsey County, a son to the late Charles and Florence (Nicholes) Lent.

Dave graduated from Buckeye Trail High School in 1986 and was a self-employed painter.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Dave is survived by his step- mother, Carolyn Lent; son, Chastin Lee Lent of Cambridge; his daughter, Larissa Dawn (Brandon) Bartnicki of Bethlehem, WV; and his sister, Cynthia (Kent) Stillion of Salesville; step-sister Rachelle (Dave) Usenick; his grandchildren, Natalie Dawn Bartnicki and Mason Hunter Bartnicki; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will be deeply missed by many friends and family.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024, at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Quaker City from 2-4PM and 5-7PM with the service the following day, Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at 12PM. Burial will follow at Salesville Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Eschbaugh officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Dave's memory to The Children's Dyslexia Center of Southeastern Ohio, the International Association for Suicide Prevention; or NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness).
