Charles "Duck" Edward Patyon, born November 11, 1948, sadly passed away on July 20, 2026
Charles started his career as one of the first Park Rangers at Salt Fork State Park in 1971 where he retired thirty years later.
Charles is preceded in death by his daughter, Autumn Leigh Payton, who passed away in 2015, his mom, Ruth Payton who passed away in 2017, and his dad, Charles Payton, who passed away in 1997. He leaves behind his son, Charles (Chas) Payton III and the mother of his children, Patty Payton; his granddaughters, Lottie, Emily and Kaylee; his sister, Judy Roberts; brothers, David (Carri) Payton and Anthony (Toni) Payton.
He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
